Catriona, I'm so pleased to have discovered your writing (through The Nordic Lens minimalist photo challenge)! It's always good to meet a fellow global nomad. Like you, I have to remind myself to look for the story where I am... Looking forward to reading more of your words. 🙏

I love this so much, Catriona. So many simple yet powerful reminders that can honestly only come from a soul that’s leaned into the path of uncertainty and uprooting over and over again. Can I ask - what countries have you lived in?

Thank you Heather! What a beautiful comment - I feel seen - it has been a journey. I do know uncertainty a bit too well. To answer your question - there is a list. I grew up in Scotland and it will always be home home. I first moved abroad for Erasmus study in France when I was 19 and then slowly peeled back more and more layers - discovering it was possible to live abroad. Since then I have lived in Ecuador, Luxembourg, Nicaragua, Italy, Egypt, Myanmar, Switzerland, Dubai and France and Scotland again. And travelled to many more. It is an odd combination of places when you see them all lined up but there was a kind of thread which linked them in my life.
