A very relatable (but still wonderful) read - esp doing work from hostels! While a fairytale story is great, sometimes what we need is a huge dose of reality served up cold.

Hi Amy thank you for your comment. Yes no fairy tales here 😂 I am glad you found it relatable - I am fed up of stories of how everything magically falls into place when most of us are still grappling with that big dose of reality. Thank you for passing by 🌏🙂

I love this Catriona! It's so important to have space around what you want to create to allow it to truly come to life the way its supposed to.

Thank you! And yes that is very true and I definitely found that once I had the space this story took its own form which was beautiful to be a part of.

Thank you Catriona, for putting this out into the world where I could find it today, after reading part 1 yesterday. This was, even without any epic tropes, encouraging and inspiring.

"My characters surprised me, they twisted the plot in ways I hadn’t imagined. They whispered their secrets, sometimes, causing me to burst into tears in this coffee shop, as I realised the truth of what happened to them."

-this is magical! It's happening to me too with the book I am writing, and letting them find their way has just been such an incredible journey. Writing a novel is such a rollercoaster.

Yes it is an unpredictable journey for sure! It is amazing when the magic happens. It makes it feel worthwhile.
